Welcome

Dear Parents and Carers,

It is a pleasure to be Head Teacher of Garrowhill Primary School. We are very proud of our reputation and very high standards. Garrowhill Primary School is a very warm place where everyone can meet their true potential. And we are committed to ensuring the learning experiences your child has are the best they can be.

At Garrowhill we wish to promote in children a positive attitude to work, self, others and the environment. We will provide a high-quality service to work in close partnership with you in preparing your child to be a successful learner, confident individual, responsible citizen and effective contributor.

We aim to provide a happy, secure and encouraging environment for your child to grow and develop in. We endeavour to ensure everyone in our school feels valued, included, is aware of their rights and responsibilities and able to respect the rights of others.

At Garrowhill Primary School our school values can be summed up in one word: BRAVE (Belief, Respect, Ambition, Virtue, Equity). We encourage everyone in our school to follow these values.

The teaching and support staff are incredibly hard working and talented professionals. We put children and young people first and greatly value our relationships with them.

I am incredibly proud of our school. I hope you find our website interesting and informative. The aim of our website is to enhance and extend our communication as well as showcase our children’s learning and achievements. In addition, we hope that it will offer you a flavour of the range of activities that occur in our school throughout the year.

If you require any further information please do not hesitate to contact me by telephone or email.
