School Cafeteria
From January 5th all children in P1-3 will be entitled to a school meal and we would urge you to take advantage of this opportunity. When we move to our new school on 14th January, all food will be cooked on our premises and a cashless system will be in operation for all children. This involves children having a card which is pre-loaded using the machines which are being installed in the school. Children in P4-7 would insert cash into the machines to load onto their cards and the card would then be swiped at the till. Parents will be able to pay as much onto these cards as they wish. Children who are entitled to a free school lunch would have their card pre-paid by the authority to the value of the lunch although if you wished your child to purchase ‘tuck’ you would need to pre pay with additional funds.
More detailed information on this new system will be coming to you from Cordia and we are hopeful that Cordia staff will be available on the days you are visiting the school in January to answer and questions you may have.
