An athletics update from Mrs Dalrymple at the Glasgow Championships on Friday 3rd June:

We were in a very tough heat with Glasgow High School, Kelvindale, Glasgow Academy and Hutchesons Grammar all in our section!

We came home with a silver medal for Andrew Cox in the 600m and a silver medal for Jamie Merser in the long jump.

Keris Goudie was 6th in her long jump so goes back on finals night for that too.

Yasmin McPhail got a bronze medal in the 100m sprint and Harris Finlayson was 5th in his sprint final so they both compete on finals night too.

Our P7 boys relay team made it to the final on Friday and came 5th in the final so they go back on finals night and our P6 girls got the bronze medal in the relay final which was brilliant! They go back too!

So in all we have 2 relay teams, 2 sprinters, 2 long jumpers and a 600m runner going through to Finals night on Wed 15th June at 5.30pm.
