Open Afternoons
We would like to invite you to the first of this years' open afternoons. This gives you the opportunity to visit your child in class and have a look at the planned learning for this term. During your visit you will have a chance to talk to your child about the new classroom routines and if you wish add any comments to the learning journal.
We understand that for working parents day time visits to school may not be possible. If you are unable to visit at this time, we will send your child’slearning journals home alog with a copy of the class plans on the Friday following the class event. Please have a chat with your child about their progress and targets for this term.
All open afternoons start at 2.15pm and parents should leave the building at the 2.50pm bell to allow children to get organised for home.
The date of each class’ open afternoon are listed below and we are very much looking forward to seeing you.
Monday 31st August: P7B Miss Byrne, P4/3Mr Halewood and P2A Mrs Martin
Tuesday 1st September: P7A Miss Boyle, P4 Mrs McGrady and P2B Mrs Elliot
Wednesday 2nd September: P6A Mrs Bouch, P5A Mrs Bryce, and P2/1 Miss Purves (for P2 parents only)
Thursday 3rd September: P6B Miss Carr, P5B Ms Stewart, P3B Ms Law and P3A Mrs Forrester
